I gathered it's less a foreign thing and more a Nissan being a lower-tiered brand. Which was also news to me. Their decently mid-tier cars here in England.
The reality that Ethan and MLS inhabit has a much more ambitious "Random Event Generator" than the rest of us so it's not even a surprise really.
Scoffing at others for not wearing a suit on an airplane is normal though, right? Reading comprehension low.
Charity raffle situation - I still don't have the complete details other than apparently I have a Nissan Sentra now because she got home and passed the fuck out.
So apparently we don't own it, it's a one year paid for lease by the dealership - so this car undoubtedly will be in contention with our neighbor's daughter's car for the most towed car in the city.
See this is a justifiable fear because it absolutely will happen at some point. I want the wood grain limo one though.
Sorry kids Dad isn't gonna be around this weekend. Too busy getting my miles worth on my 1 year free Sentra rental.
I know I have a lot of random shit happen to me - but getting stuck with a car that we don't want or need definitely ranks up there.
not really something you can do with cars. Dangerous Instrumentality doctrine opens him up to way too much liability. PSA never lend your car to ANYONE.
Wouldn't a sublease shift the liability to the new signing party? I see lease assumptions on car forums all the time, but definitely never done it.
You can assume someone's lease, but you can't waive your own liability when it comes to someone driving your car. It's why car dealerships have insurance minimums as a term of the lease.
But seriously we'll definitely decline this unless there is some other strategy that I am currently not privy to. I don't have much of a need for a Sentra to sit on the street for a year.
If you’re worried about liability from loaning out the car, just sublet out your house and live in the car. Free money.
Not sure if he's saying never does or never has. If the former, I'm in the same boat. I've only used it a handful of times ever and none in the last couple years.
I get it. I don't either in my every day life. There have been a few instances where I was out of town and it came in handy.
I feel like that's not even a blip on the radar for me when reading abt your life. At most, it's standard stuff.
no, i don't need one to go to work and back. plus, i don't drink or travel, so that's like 99% of the uses for them.
I think Ethan has exclusively Uber'd for like 6 or 7 years I've witnessed him drive a car maybe 10 times during our marriage
Me and Ethan debated whether he was talking about the Grove in Oxford or the Grove mall in Weho for an unacceptable amount of time
