Menelaus , Owsley and I are at The Ivy. To describe it as “poppin” would be an understatement. Mene just upper decked a toilet and now he’s yelling at the attendant that he could buy him (not racist bc the guy is white)
It’s funny you say that because he keeps going up to people and saying, “youre gonna bang my mouth tonight.” Guys and girls
Ya surprised we have what we have on the South side. Figured it’d just be rain here but we’ve got snow and sounds like sleet now.
Watching the news and all the idiots driving in the background look like they’re moments away from losing control
I had to be out early to check on our locations and make a decision, and it got real bad real fast. I took like 15 minutes after we decided to stay closed to set voicemails and send some emails and in that time the roads got bad quickly, and lots of idiots in their Nissan Altima’s driving around for some reason sliding around.
One of my neighbors got stuck on a slight hill 200 yards from his house because he has an extended bed F250 and doesn’t realize that weight displacement renders that big ole truck useless in these conditions
Really enjoying all the Ring updates I’m getting from people asking if convenience stores and coffee shops are open
All good here, but this rain is going to freeze hard tonight and here’s going to be a lot of tree/limb fall from the added weight. Hopefully your damage is minimal.
Pretty good - shot my neighbor lest he raid my Costco stash. About to take my Escaladay out to the interstate. Might find a cozy spot in the spices aisle at the Town Brookhaven Publix to sleep tonight just for old storm times same.
Looks minimal at the moment but won’t know until I start to clear the limbs. Deck is kinda old anyway
very well - think about 4 inches and not much ice yet. roads were treated well in EAV, Midway Pub opened as a bar only. I lost my Rooftop sun awning bc more snow fell than I expected, but thats an easy fix.
Will be able to ice skate in my yard tomorrow morning. Everything got packed down with sleet and freezing rain and it’s still raining on top of it now.
All my bushes are bent over with ice. Not a ton but enough. Hopefully the power lines hold up And agree. Roads tomorrow are you g to be a disaster and complete ice
Hoping power makes it through the night, mainly for heat. We had flickers around 4 but been good since then.
Situations like this are when I'm glad I live in a county with superb leadership and infrastructure like DeKalb.
