Look at you promoting a kabuki deadlift, thought I wouldn’t see the day Loved the bloodshot eyes, lift that much and you should look like that
Is there a consensus TMB approved (whey) protein powder? So many brands, Im just looking for quality Currently using Biosteele at the suggestion of someone probably paid to suggest it Thanks muscleheads
Isolate is proven to be more easily digestible. Get whatever isolate fits the budget. I use Dymatize iso100 stay away from blends. Get one that is 100% whey isolate. Concentrate is cheap and way less bioavailable and even though isolate is listed first the ratio could be 55/45
I get big ass bags of optimum nutrition from Costco. Sometimes it goes on sale and I get way too excited about that.
From my soccer days, learned the best short term cure for a pulled groin is icy hot. Has worked well this week till I made the mistake you don’t want to make and oh it wasn’t pleasant
jamal did 815x8 after his 500kg pull. jesus https://www.instagram.com/reel/CjLnNWhJhVa/?igshid=NzNkNDdiOGI=
Just get iso simply because of carbs. It's easy to add carbs to your diet. It's harder to remove them
Anyone else drink tart cherry juice? It’s supposed to help with sleep and soreness. Definitely works for sleep.
Does anyone itt have strong feelings about pre-workout brands and then ingredients (stim vs. non-stim)? I know some will be anti-preworkout, too, but looking for some brand recs if possible.
I take a stim but it’s because I get up and workout at 4. I don’t really care about the brand but I want to see the ingredients, not some bullshit thing like this blend or that blend. I’m not much help I guess.
I like Hyde a lot (start out with the standard, the extreme is a lot and closest thing to the OG jack3d I’ve come across)
Materia has both stim and non-stim pre-workouts called PR-Breaker. They only have supplements credibly backed by data with the recommended dosing. They work with a lot of tested lifters so no cross contamination, no fillers, no fake ingredients, etc. highly recommend
thanks guys., i will look both of these up. others i've seen on some lists are EHP Labs, Alpha Lion, Transparent Labs, Blackwolf, and Redcon1. Any feedback on those?
my one issue with EHP is 2 out of 3 of their preworkouts aren't transparent on the label with ingredient amounts. otherwise is looks solid.
Materia looks good but v2.0 only has 2 flavors. Do you recommend either? I'm not a huge grape flavor guy...
Thanks. My only question on the Materia: I'd probably be in the 1 scoop category on caffeine and beta-alanine dose. Given that delivers 2500mg creatine, would you do a half scoop of a creatine (creapure) powder for another 2500mg post workout like I normally do with protein (usually tak3 5g per day) or would you do something else? Also, any rec for a no-stim pre-workout for when I need to workout after the kids go to bed?
Yea I’d just supplement the remaining creatine separately. I just now realized they got rid of their non-stim product. Well shit. I’m not sure on who makes a good one.
His best ig post was a reply to a question of what supplements he takes and he says he doesn't take supplements but when he does... And proceeded to rattle off like 100 supplements his company makes.
I thought you meant like an actual bar for some reason. Like you went and had a beer and a bowl of goat testicles. Google tells me otherwise. The reviews for the bar are great.
I fucking fell on my last two of my backoff set of squat. Got lucky and was able to get my foot in front of me and save it but man I thought I was going down
