#2 in Men's basketball Baseball and football both as high as #1 in their last seasons. Ain't no place I'd rather be
Pretty wild that our basketball team is lead by no star Zakai Zeigler, no star Véscovi, and five star JJJ as a senior. If Nkamhoua is dialed in, I think we are hard to beat. Hell, Uros is a good shot if he makes his offensive moves fast in the post.
Caught the bama game when I came home for a bit. Would love to see us in Madison square and go 2-2 this year but I’m on call that day
Defense will be much improved. Mostly concerned about Cooper May's getting back for Florida. Milton won't be as consistent as Hooker. Think we are better at WR, RB, and TE than we thought we were a year ago this time.
Just has to be serviceable. Think our running backs are extremely underrated. Defense should be better. Really looking forward to seeing some of the freshmen.
I expect a super steady year from Milton. Had all offseason to be the guy, including the lead up to last year's bowl game. often an older QB can dominate the college level, especially with such a dynamic offensive mind calling plays. just depends how they fill in the gaps they lost at certain position. trying to mentally prepare myself for all the Milton overthrows and passes that bounce off WRs hands because he only throws it 90 mph, lol
I'm almost positive I saw someone say Dee Williams didn't want to switch to offense, but he is really something with the ball in his hands.
Offense looked better once we got into a rhythm. Was not a huge fan of going for it on 4th from their 30… wtf. I love our three headed beast in the backfield Defense was excellent. Nice to see the front 7 imposing their will. Haven’t seen an entire o line knocked off the line in unison in awhile. Backs weren’t really challenged today… Kicking was terrible. Aussie had some BAD ones and we kicked out of bounds twice. Dee had his fumble but two big returns. He’s so dangerous back there. Fix the kinks next week and then let’s go murder Florida in their house
I thought the early 4th down was good. It challenged the offensive line and the defense. Virginia didn't have a chance of blocking us today and the coaches knew that. So why not put them in early jeopardy with no risk.
Joe had nice touch on his short and intermediate throws and OL looked good. Two things I wanted to see. It was a blowout but would’ve been way worse if Keyton didn’t drop that long pass in 1st quarter. Defense looked so much better. Pearce is gonna be nasty all season.
From my point of view, if I'm challenging my offensive line I just go halfback dive. Getting that first down is less important than having something yell at them about
I mean I understand it as a lineman many years ago. I’m just not a big fan
Hell, we’re lucky it wasn’t 60-70 points today with the dropped TD, fumbled punt. There was probably more I’m forgetting.
Our defense should be goodish, like top 25. It won't end that high in total yards cause of the offense. But we got who are much more athletic and bigger than we've had in awhile.
