We were extremely vanilla on offense and it will be the same next week. I don't think we are going to be able to properly gauge how good the offense is with Milton until they open up the playbook against Florida.
I want to say he is better kicking off his left foot than right but I have zero evidence to support that.
A mix between really bad drops by our receivers and Joe following it up with rockets and that didn't need to be rockets.
It's really cool that we aren't throwing down field because we don't trust anyone to do anything right.
Got called into work so I missed the second half but that was the worst outing by the wideouts under heupel. I really hope they were just looking ahead to Florida.
Thought winning a game like that is great sign for the team long term. Need better QB play moving forward. James Pearce is so good
The first series he just runs out of bounds on a free 3rd down play instead of putting his shoulder down. Then he hurts their best LB by putting his shoulder down. Improvement, but I need him to complete passes not run.
Dee Williams is odd. Cause he is elite running with the football, but he can’t play corner and then he didn’t want to switch to offense. But we can’t play him at WR cause he doesn’t know the plays and we can’t go tempo.
Milton hasn’t been good. But the scheme is bad too. WRs aren’t getting open. Lots of drops. Just messy
That's why I think Milton needs to run more. He doesn't seem to want to keep the ball on the read options even though he is a more than capable runner. I feel like that would help open some stuff up. It's what Hendon was really good at.
Milton is just always a half second too late on the throws. I’d just run the fuck out of him against Alabama, cause I’m no longer worried about getting him hurt
