Yes definitely has dementia. A valid statement to say. Definitely. (Sarcasm toward Theo Von not you) If the presidency came down to a test that included information a world lead should know. Including questions about domestic and international policy, the Constitution, etc. I’d be confident where biden stands vs trump. Biden sounds 81. He’s old and sounds older than Bernie. Trump was an unmitigated disaster and will be Biden’s age next term. I wouldn’t choose that in a million years.
He’s definitely suffering a cognitive decline. But dude is 80+. That’s normal for people that age to not be sharp as they used to be. But is it normal for somebody like that to be in the most important position in the world? I’d have to say no.
You cannot have that conversation without also discussing the mental state of the alternative to Joe Biden.
There’s something about the arrogance of the boomer generation where they just can’t fucking let go of political power.
It will be funny when Biden performs well in the debate and people get confused about how demented he's supposed to be Just like 20
At the end of the day it doesn’t matter if the democrats run a literal potato The current Republican Party is evil to the core, and if they gain power in the manner that they would like we will have failed the rest of the world in stopping a very evil group from gaining power
Maybe the Democrat party should just not run a potato then. Not saying that’s Biden but give me a fucking break, I’m still wondering why we’re having these conversations instead of having a real primary
Why are they running a sitting president who already beat an incumbent president and has done objectively good things?!
that’s not they point, the point is why do we even have to argue who’s in more cognitive decline for president of the United States? Trump is or isn’t should be irrelevant, or an attack point for Dems. It’s about what you can control and the candidate the democrats are about to run
I’ll still vote for whatever potato the Dems put out there when the only alternative is a Republican, I just wish we weren’t running an octogenarian
In 4 years I doubt Biden can even talk. I think unlike Trump he takes the job seriously. And it's grinding him down rapidly.
Theo Vonn, right wing comedian, grifter, and podcaster. Oh no. What are we going to do? We’ve lost the guy we never had who interviews and praises white nationalist Tucker Carlson, Roseanne Barr, and more. You can catch him at every UFC event with the rest of em.
because people like you are buying the argument that he is in cognitive decline so we should vote for the last loser president over the incumbent president Trump has a cult and cults are impossible to deprogram so why would you move away from a candidate that has won in order to bring in an unknown to say this situation is delicate is an understatement
If anyone talks about Biden's mental faculties without mentioning even more alarming things Trump has done then they aren't a serious person.
The party of a sitting president is never going to attempt to primary him/her unless that person dies or doesn't want to run again. Just won't ever ever happen.
Biden has been objectively an effective president so I don't really get the mental decline angle. I think people who vote democrat but are really concerned about Biden's age are just tired of hearing about it from RW friends and media. tired of Biden being the punchline for so many bad jokes. I'll admit, it wears me down sometimes too, but at the end of the day it's just about who is going to win the election and be an effective president. Biden has done both.
I mean things like inexplicably not knowing Rudy Giuliani is sitting next to him, like 7 years ago. Admitting to taking mental competency tests in a TV interview (the "woman, person, camera, tv" thing)
wow those 3 things alone in 1996 would have murdered a political career and probably had you thrown in jail
I don't pay attention to politics at all, so I would like to objectively know what Joe Biden has done to make life better/easier for me, the middle class guy, especially financially. I don't want any what aboutism regarding Trump either, because he's awful and I'd never in a million years vote for him.
It’s his cabinet and organization that have done a good job. Voting for him again is voting for them. As a mouthpiece he’s pretty embarrassing though. Maybe 1% as embarrassing as Trump though also.
The recovery by the US from COVID shocks has been the best in the world. Real wage growth and spending power up, especially for middle class folks. Gas very cheap. Thats before getting into the infrastructure and climate bills that are unprecedented in modern history. Most pro labor president in a century or better, which helps middle class and down the most
Also pardoned federal marijuana possession charges and is reviewing weed reclassification. Also also if you have student loans he wiped a bunch of it away before the courts struck that down. He's still done it in other ways, now, as well. Just not to the same extent.
I mean, the fed is raising interest rates because too many people are employed and making too much money. That's a stupid fucking problem to have as a country but here we are.
And Biden is doing it with one half of Congress being more like a fight club mean girl party than an actual functioning part of the legislature
