Been to snows, the Texas memorial museum (animals and dinosaurs), the Texas toy museum, the museum of the weird, and now just found a park with kids playing on the playgrounds. Pretty damn good day so far
3:30 AM Monday. Violent vomitting. Had a gyro platter Sunday night from a new local place. Not their fault but I can never return.
wife and i found out last week that we are having a little girl in late august. we've known since christmas time and finally started telling people once we found out the sex pretty d*ng excited
Nah. He’s my best friend and I will miss him terribly. I know it’s gonna be good for him but he’s already looking at colleges and it makes me sad and hapoy at the same time.
yeah fuck that noise. Enjoy him as long as you can. My boy had shit come up on Saturday and we missed the BYU game and it sucked not watching with him. My last two will move out when they are ready and I am in no rush. My 16 year old is looking at Cali schools but my 14 year old has her heart set on Yale and it’s gonna kill me to have her on the other side of the country.
I get it for these young kid dads. It can be exhausting. Mine is looking at Stanford, UCLA, ASU and Miami so far. I really can’t fault him on any of them. Depending on where we will move closer to him I’m sure.
UCLA :fingers crossed: have you been? Gorgeous campus. Great area. #1 public school in the nation. Can’t go wrong.
you won’t be disappointed. Hopefully you’ll be able to pick up some Brand Jordan gear when you visit.
3 year old is pissing through his pullup every night to the point we are changing sheets every day. We've tried different pullup brands/types. He pisses like 3 times in the potty in the hour or so leading up to bed, last one being like 3 drops immediately before going to sleep. I can't even understand how he has that much to piss let alone how we could improve our routine to prevent it.
This made me too sad too early today. If my boys aren't my best friends well then I'm disowning them.
Most of the time I just feel bad for my wife because we were only able to have one and she never got a girl. We do so much together that often times she’s the third wheel. But she does love our dogs a lot.
May have to draw back on how much he's having to drink an hour or two before bed. My daughter is close to 4 and still does this occasionally though, including this morning.
Woke up to a $190 charge on the Amex. Wife: I let the boys pick out new shoes for the summer Me: How many pairs? Wife: Two Me: Each? (I have two kids) Wife: One pair each Me: <the biggest yaoface in the history of the world> tldr: My wife let my kids pick $90 shoes to wear for 3 months and is mad because I made her return them
He really isn't drinking that much leading up to bed. Why I was saying I can't even comprehend how he has that much pee in his body. Restricting him anymore would almost be depriving him completely. He doesn't drink enough water in general imo.
Yeah, second boy is on the way and wife was disappointed when we found out. Frankly I wanted a girl with #1 so she would be happy but can't pick em. And mine is probably too in love with the dogs as well.
If he's peeing that much at night then he's clearly getting enough water I'd think. Our pediatrician told us that we should not give our daughter any fluids an hour before she goes to bed.
In the last two days my son has asked me what the oval things were in his sack and this morning asked me what a side chick was.
My son is very curious about genitals. "I have a pee pee?" Yup "Daddy have a pee pee?" Yup "Mommy have a pee pee?" Well yeah but it's a different, weird pee pee "haha Mommy has a weird pee pee"
We had to us the Huggies Nightime diapers with an extra pad for my son for nearly a year (just after he turned two until after he turned three). We went up one size too in the diaper. It honestly was the only thing that worked for us as he pissed a gallon every night no matter what or when he drank. Maybe give the extra pad insert a try with the pull up. That little bit made all the difference for us. Following his third birthday we just slowly stopped using them and he’s been great at night. His pull up is mostly dry now. First thing he does when he wakes up is take a giant pee.
I am a little older than some of you and I had my kids way too young so my kids are older than most of yours. Well my son made his first major purchase without me and my wife co-signing. His buddy is the manager at the dealership so apparently he got a good deal on a lease.
he is a much better version of me. Like I told him I’m proud not of the car but of what it represents. His hard work starting to pay off.
It’s the most frustrating thing. You’ll say something and he’s like sorry I was listening to my music. Then he constantly loses them or sets them down and doesn’t remember.
