Thinking about Jeff Sessions’ “distinguished” career being completely, hilariously, and repeatedly embarrassingly torpedoed because he endorsed Trump is very gratifying. The people of Alabama will shit on him until his death in favor of a Yankee elite trust fund manbaby.
Tuberville is known for his defense and may have a trick up his sleeve since he is the Riverboat Gambler.
Tubbs is going to give that shit to Rudi Johnson and win this thing. US Senator Tommy Tuberville What a fn time
The Trump cult effect is real. I thought Sessions’ war chest and general establishment support in Alabama would get him in. But, it’s been amazing watching people who probably voted for him 10 times for various offices just absolutely turn on him because the dear leader said to.
Doug Jones seems like an incredible guy and representative of our better angels. Really a damn shame. We need more folks like him in government.
what point are you trying to make? That you cannot bad mouth a current or former coach of your favorite team for his personal life or political aspirations?
LOL. We’ve got a Tubs supporter in here. I’ll tell you same thing I told the other one, please commit a felony so you’ll lose your right to vote.
These are reasons he shouldn't be a United States Senator: Since 1977 he's been a largely mediocre at best football coach. He has no experience in law, he's never run a business, he hasn't been in a true education position since the late 70s. He has no practical expertise or experience that would be relative to any committee in the United States Senate. Once you get past all that, he is in the race because he's a snake-oil salesman with low character, who moved to Alabama from Florida after he "retired", in order to sell his shit to the lowest common denominator. The man has never had any loyalty to anyone but himself. Look at how he left Ole Miss and Texas Tech. He is a shit tier human, who would sell his own mother if it would help him do his next thing.
“I think God brought [Trump] to us, and gave us the opportunity to have somebody just take the gloves off, start swinging, try to run these people back in their holes,” he said on another Alabama radio show. “I want to go to Washington to help him.” Another example: “What a great person,” he said of Justice Kavanaugh.
I figured that from your last post, was looking for examples. I don't chalk up all Cons as racists just because they're Cons
Saying Rowdy Burns is stupid as hell is like saying Jax Teller is white trash. You’re really just being redundant
i understand you're probably grading on a curve with an alabama democrat but c'mon. he literally voted last week to restore patriot act powers, including warrantless collection of browsing data. no need to place him on a pedestal.
If eating Doritos turns your poop that color, you should probably see a doctor and stop eating Doritos.
Yeah, Doug was in a position to throw caution to the wind and make a big difference the second he was elected. Instead, he's chasing windmills to try to hold the seat. It's been as disappointing as it was predictable.
well it's that and also that he loves being famous so he's securing credentials to hobnob with the DC class, probably with a gig on like MSNBC, in his post senate life
What's funny to me is that he'd have a better chance at that goal if he'd done anything to make himself known while in the Senate.
also to someone who will right away become a top three dumb guy in the senate i'm not sure if ppl have followed precisely how fucking idiotic tuberville is. like sessions is a monster but he has a pretty coherent ideology and worldview. tuberville has absolutely no idea what he's talking about on any subject.
Is he not behaving within his own ideology though? Our firm has worked with him on a few cases in the past, particularly on election contest cases when he was counsel for the state Democratic party. Our impression of him was always that he was a pretty conservative Democrat.
