At the end when Aubrey is just like "thank you for having me!" was my favorite part. Her parents are obviously awesome.
this is it. they're releasing on disney+ instead of theaters next october edit: i shouldn't say *instead of* because i haven't seen that actually. but this is what was coming in october, i can't imagine they'll still release it in theaters a year and a half later
They probably still could. Not everyone has Disney+ and I'm sure fans would love to experience it in theater audio. I just want to know how long it's staying on Disney+
Really good news, especially after COVID scrubbed the March performances in Jax we were going to. But I would have rather had “In the Heights” go to one of the streaming sites (even if it meant you had to pay to watch like Trolls). Kudos to Lin for always looking out for the fans though.
I don't know everything on Disney+ but are there other movies that have profanity at all? Not necessarily rated-r but just occasional language?
Here’s an example: Adventures in Babysitting Though Adventures of Babysitting is not on the U.S. Disney+ yet, it does appear on the service in other countries. The Disney+ version has two changes that have been part of the TV version for decades. In the movie, the famous line "don't f*** with the babysitter" in the 1987 version has been changed to "don't fool with the babysitter," while another scene changes the word "homo" for the word "weirdo." https://www.newsweek.com/disney-plu...-edited-splash-racist-nudity-censored-1498006
It'd be nice if D+ offered an unedited and edited version on the service. I feel like that's the only way we'll get an unedited version.
The edited/unedited discussion is much ado about nothing. There’s a handful of things at most that might be edited.
That said if it is censored it really doesn't affect anything. We'd lose like 6 total seconds. It's not like trying to censor Django Unchained
I guess they left the one where he gets the letter “well that was my wife you decided to...” “FUUUUUUUU...” which is weird cause I didn’t remember him actually finishing the line. Is there another one I’m missing? And damn, the southern democratic republicans line is great.
Should have kept southern motherfucking democratic Republicans and got rid of my wife who you decided to fuuuu
