Fair enough. Saw they were “home team”. Should have known duke wouldn’t travel to anywhere out of conference
awful bubble this year. 2-2 finish, and then maybe win 1 game in tourney will put you at 19-14. Should be more than enough.
the schedule the rest of the way is pretty bad so I suppose its possible but its still a Mike Woodson coached team capable of going scoreless for 10+ minutes at a time
I don’t mind the new one, but yes, the old one was bad. Fun fact: the first year of the arena the court didn’t even have a midcourt line, they used a laser. LOL.
This graphic makes the old one look way darker than it was (and the new one way lighter than it actually is)
The new one sucks, too. It’s just not nearly as bad as the old one which was the worst attempt at a basketball court ever created.
They’ll never do it but IU would be in a lot better shape if they didn’t dress Mgbako the rest of the year. Woodson can’t be trusted to not play him and he doesn’t try. This team is not nearly good enough to play a guy who takes selfish shots and doesn’t try hard. If they really want to make the tourney, Rice, Goode, Leal, and Galloway need to play 34+ minutes a game. It’s not close to their most talented lineup but it’s the most cohesive defensively and can maybe weather storms.
Well it’s particularly strange because MSU controls their own destiny to winning the league outright.
Oh yeah so 58-55 between MSU and Maryland is “great basketball” while 49-46 between Michigan and Nebraska is pure garbage that no one should be forced to watch. I see how it is.
Are 6-7 day stretches off a normal B1G hoops occurrence, or new with the 4 west coast schools this year?
It will happen occasionally, maybe 1-2 times a year. You usually have 2 games every week but a couple bye weeks a season where you only play 1.
Mgbako 0/3 from the floor and 0/4 from the ft line tonight (he’s like an 88% ft shooter but is still pouting about getting benched last game). Get him off the team please
Nice that they end up with the win, but don't know what Ben Johnson was thinking playing Rigsby and Frank Mitchell so little in the 2nd half until Nebraska came all the way back. They were the Gophers two best players in the first half.
