Chuds eat this shit up.
So how do we think this works. Is that $200 million they're committing to his projects, or does that $200M his salary and production costs go on top of that?
Good question. If I had to guess I'd say they're paying him that much for him to write/create X number of shows. They probably handle a majority of the production cost and anything above the budget is on him. But I really have no clue about those things and am just guessing entirely.
I'm sure he's making money off owning the 6666 Ranch that's the focus of one of the new spinoffs too.
I think we have a TV agent on the board. Maybe stexraider
I dont think there are many TV agents living in south Texas, but I could be wrong
It’s someone I’ve played in a fantasy league with, and I swear it was a TT fan.
#Texas Tech Red Raiders
I watched a video on his upcoming shows. Outside of the Yellowstone ones, the Stallone, the Kidman and the non white washed Lone Ranger (Bass something I think) ones look really good.
I feel like we are gunna get a market flooded with too much Sheridan and some stuff is gunna leave a tarnish on the good stuff
We're talking Hollywood and for some reason not going directly to the source.
Eathan Edwards What's Taylor Sheridan like on a personal level and how is he being paid by Paramount?
He didn’t do Michael Clayton did he?
No. That’s Tony Gilroy.
Ah the Great Wall guy. We aren’t all perfect
I know Renner pretty well and my wife knows Nicole - not sure I've ever hung out with Taylor before but I have some friends that were on films/shows with him so I'm sure I'll have a ridiculous anecdote or two if I ask about it.
Tell us about Renner then!
Intense individual - used to party hard but has calmed down in recent years. We had some times during the 2012-2016 window.
That sign is wrong and your list is trash with Drive at the bottom! I SAID WUT I SAID!
I hope your car explodes
you're gonna blow my cover!
you can't go on thinking nothing's wrong
Well, fuck. Maybe it was a USC fan with a similar avatar... I swear there's a TV agent on the board.
The dialogue between Chris Pine and Bridges at the end could not be more fantastic
Finally finished 1883 this weekend. Sam Elliott was excellent as always but Tim McGraw was on level which somewhat surprised me. I'm excited to see if he'll get more serious lead acting roles in the future. Particularly roles with a bit of diversity outside of cowboys and football dads.
Finally got around to watching Sicario the other day.... and I think Hell or High Water is clearly the superior film.
I want to have an experience where I look at a dude holding a gun and say “you’d think there were 10 of me,” watch Somekne else kick his ass and then yell “TEN OF ME” as we drove off
Would you also admonish the interloper for getting you a Mr Pibb when you said Dr Pepper
ABSO FN LUTELY
LAST I CHECKED THIS IS AMERICA
The scene at the end with him and his daughter he absolutely saved as she was definitely trying to ruin it
I rewatched Hell or High Water the other night and noticed an unmistakable plot hole -- or more like a dialogue hole.
When Chris Pine's character goes home to visit his sons, only the older one is home. Chris asks where the younger one is and why he isn't in school, the boy says school won't start for another couple weeks. This tell us the story takes place in early August.
And yet it's clearly not early August, because in the previous scene Chris Pine watched an A&M football game at the casino. Jeff Bridges also watches UT highlights on SportsCenter right around this point in the movie.
It's simultaneously not a big deal and at all and quietly disappointing. With something so easily fixable like that, you'd think our boy would get his timeline locked down.
HoHW isn't on Hulu anymore, sadly
It’s on Netflix
And we know it’s not late December/early January because there’s no way A&M is playing in an important bowl game
late august. HS starts after labor day?
Not in Texas
Don’t think she was near as bad as everyone made her out to be but Tim made that show
I didn't hate her acting overall as much as I hated the accent.
She was legit horrible
Man, the movie is ruined for me now.
best part of the movie
"are you trying to piss me off?"
I know it’s not Sheridan but: Drinking bourbon and reading Lonesome Dove >
Yellowstone was such a huge exposure/career boost for Ryan Bingham. He used to pop up on my Tyler Childers Pandora station occasionally, now he’s about 20% of the songs on it. Big fan.
Dude won an academy award in 2010.
also an Oscar and Grammy for the same song
I discovered him in 2010 as a direct result of Crazy Heart but yes its good that Yellowstone has also given him another well deserved boost.
