intro sounds exactly like one of black midi's songs from their last album and had me confused for a tick
nice lineup for lil ole Columbia i still fw of Montreal. Daddy’s Beemer is fun. Truth Club nice regional pull.
Halfway through it. Idk if it's grabbing me like the last one? Just hit the track "Sundowner" though; digging this one.
Anyone here familiar with Misha Panfilov? Discovered his stuff in the last week and haven’t stopped listening since. If you’re into Estonian ambient instrumental compositions, you’ll dig it. The Sea Will Outlive Us All and Frutaria Electrónica are my favorite albums thus far, both being simply sublime.
Not “love” on first listen. “Favourite” is still my favorite, but I’ve heard it enough during the single-phase. Will give the unfamiliar songs another chance.
Thoroughly enjoying. Definitely heavier than some of their other stuff, but Chatten pushing into some different sounds. Really like it
was thinking about them the other day wondering if they'd get back on the horse at some point, fingers crossed
Ive enjoyed it quite a bit so far. its more mellow than their first but really well put together. they have a really incredible knack for construction of a pop song in a lot of different styles and it makes for a fun listen.
another new decent track but I can’t quite put my finger on the influences - thinking maybe the strokes, joy division, QOTSA?
Residencies in NYC, LA, and London Wife and I just signed up for each of the three LA dates in December (huge undersell at 800 cap theatre), fingers crossed
