watched in class without sound and almost let out a laugh. the chair is hilarious.
wow thats bad
What a fucking excellent thread.
Audrew you are a saint.
The other group did Anchorman. It's not finished, but it's even worse. Like, not even enjoyable to laugh at worse. Other than the fact the Dark Knight crew has horrible costumes, staging and acting...they will more than likely get an A for their shot-by-shot remake.
Wish Audrew was one of my teachers back in the day..
Trying to upload another clip in a second. It's much better than the last clip.....until you see Batman's face for the first time.
Here we go...this part starts off promising...then
oh man, Batman costume may be even better in the 2nd video. It kinda loses the dress look it had in the first one but has so much more floppy ear action.
one of the kids I worked with today is one of 32 (yes, 32) children...
google "poppa love" from Tampa if you want to read all about this father of the year
No offense, but who wants to hear about that when you can hear about laptop charger stealing, horrible movie directing fools like I have?
is it bad if the 2nd video makes me want to watch the actual movie again?
well, that makes it a mandatory A then, doesn't it?
Joker in the second one wasn't nearly insane enough.
LOL that batman costume is so fucking terrible i'm dying here. lol @ seeing batman's underwear band
You can also see my Auburn bobbleheads and my pimp ass chair behind the desk.
Stalag 17 in class today and football starting tonight. Does life get better? I submit that it does not.
a+ material. with very high potential
Hey, Mr. Dumbass High School Student....not too many 15-year-olds are capable of making Mutt and Jeff references while writing a movie review. Neither are you, you plagiarist!!!
he dun goof'd
Call his ass out on it in the middle of class.
I'm going to ask him to tell me how much he loves Mutt and Jeff tomorrow.
I was gonna say you should do something along those lines.
3 kids also caught plagiarizing....FROM THE SAME FUCKING REVIEW!!!!
Do 15-year-olds really think I'm going to believe:
A group of captured American sergeants are piled together in the barracks of a German prisoner of war camp, Stalag 17. They hatch ingenious plots for escape, but somehow, they are always discovered -- there’s a traitor in their midst. Suspicion falls on Sefton (William Holden), a deeply cynical POW who manages to work the system to get a few extra comforts from time to time, assisted by his devoted sidekick, Cookie.(Gil Stratton.)
The mood turns ugly when two escaping Americans are shot in the attempt - and grows even uglier when a heroic captured pilot is betrayed to the camp commandant as a successful saboteur. Absent any real proof, the barracks men turn on Sefton, ostracizing and even beating him. Sefton sets out to find out who the real traitor is.
is their own words?!?!?!??!?!
damn I wish I had a film class in HS
Did you ever get the Anchorman clip up or are there any more?
Not worth posting. Trust me.
this thread delivers
Can't wait to hear what happens tomorrow...
I had a film class in high school.. We watched a lot of the same movies that you are showing.
Some that we watched that you didn't include were: Casablanca, The Sound of Music, Mr. Smith goes to Washington, The Maltese Falcon, and can't remember if you are showing this one or not but also The Rear Window.
Oh God I just died laughing when Batman came on screen
A+ thread would read again
We watched alot of those films in my film class last year. But included China Town, Once, and this one
I liked Once
wow some of your students sound fucking retarded
You know why I use public humiliation, parents? Zeroes are too quick. You don't get to savor...all the little emotions. See, when they're called out for cheating in front of everyone, they show you who they really are. So, in a way, I know your children better than you ever did....would you like to know which of them are cowards?
show them Big Trouble in Little China.
Did they cry?
I hope they cried...
quality thread. will continue to follow.
I'm prepping myself for certification now. Haven't decided what subject area I wanna do. Any suggestions, guys?
2 out of 5 cried.
The-Mainboard.com: Drinking the tears of children since 2010.
New movie being added to the curriculum: The Man Who Knew Too Little. HILARIOUS film and by far Bill Murray's most underrated, under appreciated work.
I mean really how tough is it to write a review for a movie that you have to copy one?
seriously. just give your opinion and you win the game
So, I have to pick a Word of the Day for the school from some ACT prep vocab list to put in the announcements.
Today's word is ambrosial, an adjective meaning exceptionally pleasing to taste or smell. I have to come up with a sentence using the word as well. After explaining the word to my 1st period class, I asked them what's a food they think that word describes. First response? Cheetos.
