Also with baby 2 we splurged for the veer wagon and it’s great oldest loves it and got that infant seat adapter to tote them all together. Does great off path and the newest version pushes like a stroller. It’s beefy but still folds smaller than a double stroller and way more capable
Best Covid purchase I made was a bounce house water slide combo inflatable. Still holds up and still gets regular use. it’s some work to get it up and pack it away but kids love it
My son who has been potty trained for damn near a year with little issues after he finally became trained has 4 times this week now gotten pee all over the floor in the bathroom. Including today when he went to the bathroom, told me there was pee on the floor from last time he went, I went in and cleaned it up. I told him to make sure he goes in the toilet this time and pulls his pants all the way down and he says OK, and somehow 5 seconds later as I'm still walking the soiled paper towel to the garbage I hear him scream "I had an accident". Walk back in and his underwear and pants are soaked and he's standing in a pile of piss. It's like wtf dude, we literally talked about this seconds before you did it again.
Yeah that’s bad ass. I’m doing it. Wife is being a wet blanket “but what about insurance” whatever nerd. Sadly growth is not always linear.
We've got a similar sized bounce house. 10 year old still plays on it He's got a couple of younger cousins that will use it on the regular for a while Last time I dislocated my shoulder was on there
We went through this. Seems like finally the month he’s turning 8 he can consistently pee straight into the toilet.
I bought the Amazon bouncy house 5 years ago and we still use it. Also bought one of those outdoor trashcans with a lid to store it in. In my new house I have to drag it down to the basement to store it because our upstairs storage is pretty limited. I got lazy a few months ago and left it sitting in the backyard with the lid on it. Two year old was playing with it and took the lid off and chunked it somewhere. So it sat there for like a month with the lid off and I went out there to check it out and the whole fucking thing is covered in water/mold. That was a fun afternoon project.
My 2.5 year old is like a chimp who discovered a new tool in how she carries the stepstool around the house getting into mischief.
For any new dads. Get the baby bjorn bouncer, it’s expensive, it’s worth it. https://us.rebelstork.com/products/...MIweTp842oiAMVwlxHAR0iWhqEEAQYASABEgKaQPD_BwE
Was amazing to stash the kids in before the could walk, and then after walking they still played on it for a while
19 month old is obsessed with Bounce Patrol. Dude would sit there and watch them all day if we let him.
My 18 month old right now on pushing her tower around in the kitchen. (we took the chairs and other table she could carry around to climb up on shit) She also discovered she could reach all the door handles like 2-3 weeks ago. Been a fun time with her also starting to form toddler sentences.
I have one for sale (TMB DISCOUNT), kids never liked the damn thing. They preferred the cheap fischer-price one pictured below.
My 7 year old brought this home yesterday. My translation is it depicts him asking me if he can do something, me saying no and him telling me I'm being sus.
Headed to the hospital soon. My wife is getting induced today, and we’re having our first. Baby boy has waited six days past his due date. No nerves yet. Just excited. But after today I’ll officially be qualified to participate in this thread.
A 9am birthday party on a Sunday morning is criminal Spoiler it’s my twins 6 year old party. My wife is a lunatic
Chuck E. Cheese before they open with 40 kids. I didn’t even ask what this is costing us because my blood pressure would go off the charts.
the chair/couch was relatively comfortable at our hospital so I like to complain to my wife about how the nurses didn’t pay me any attention or offer to bring me food. she loves that
Biggest thing is to be selfish and send the kid with the nurses. You’re not Going to sleep the next few weeks so every little bit helps. In the thick of it you’re not going to think that way but how we did from kid 1to kid 2 was night and day different.
